Marylebone Retrofit Town Planning Approval
Retrofit proposals for 33 Robert Adam Street, Marylebone, prepared by GarnettArchitecture for The Portman Estate, have received Town Planning Consent from Westminster City Council. The circa 1,100sqm project will involve refurbishment of four office floors and remodel of the entrance hall within the 1970s mixed use block, formerly the HQ of London Merchant Securities before its merger with Derwent London. External works include part recladding of the lower elevations, replacement of windows, and installation of shutters to reduce solar gain. Works are expected to commence on site at the end of Q2 2024. The Design Team also includes, PBC, Furness Partnership, TPS, and PBC.
