50 Floral Street Practical Completion

We are delighted that 50 Floral Street, Covent Garden has achieved Practical Completion

Collins Construction and the Design Team including Hart Dixon, Atelier 10, Gardiner & Theobald we have delivered this 16,100 sqft enhanced Cat A refurbishment for Royal London Asset Management. GarnettArchitecture acted as Architect and Lead Designer, BR PD, CDM PD, Client H&S advisor, CMT and Novated Delivery Architect.

The project carefully balanced the retention of the building’s Victorian warehouse character with the delivery of high-quality, contemporary office space and improved building performance. Key architectural elements were restored including exposed brickwork, original timber beams and roof trusses remaining visible throughout the space.

Inside, repurposed Crittall windows have been transformed into a suspended lighting feature within the reception, creating a distinctive arrival experience from the moment visitors step through the door.

A significant part of the brief was to retain as much of the building’s character as possible while creating a workplace that meets the expectations of today’s occupiers.
