Project Description

Refurbishment of a retail/ residential terrace dating from the 1920s originally designed by renowned Holborn architect Charles Doll. Located in the Bloomsbury Conservation Area, the terrace comprises fourteen independent shop units facing onto Store Street with predominantly flats above. The circa 4,000sqm phased scheme included the replacement of shop fronts at street level and the refurbishment of retail spaces at ground and basement levels and part demolition of the rear elevation to make way for new ambulant disabled access stairs. The project also included lateral conversion of upper floors, to provide new self contained flats for letting on AST’s.
