Project Description

Redevelopment as part of a 7,000sqm. mixed use regeneration scheme in between Tottenham Court Road and Gower Street, London WC1. Located at the junction of Store Street and Ridgmount Street, the development includes reconstruction of the former Bloomsbury Petrol Station and forecourt dating from 1926 which has been converted to a new restaurant. The project features a new BREEAM Excellent office building arranged over three levels, while to the rear the Grade II Listed former private dining room of the Academy Hotel has been restored as a suite of offices. The flank wall of the new office building facing Store Street incorporates an art panel of painted ceramic tiles by Brian James. The project received a design commendation from London Borough of Camden in 2014.
