Phased refurbishment of an occupied Grade II Listed building, in use as private members casino. The refurbished areas include the ground floor, the main entrance and the 1^st floor restaurant. The rear roof was reconfigured and reconstructed to provide two new extensions designed as free-standing ‘pavilions’ for gaming activities and internal and external guest seating. The design utilised decorative perforated metal panels, glass roofs and folding doors to maximise daylighting internally and access to terraces, while reducing the architectural impact on the Conservation Area setting.
