GarnettArchitecture Selected by The Bedford Estates for Chelsea Wharf Project

We weren’t made in Chelsea but we’re pleased to have landed a new job there! GarnettArchitecture has been selected by The Bedford Estates to develop designs for the refurbishment and extension of Chelsea Wharf Studios located on Lots Road, Chelsea SW10.

The existing building comprises fine Edwardian warehousing, a number of converted 1950s office/ light industrial blocks and a disused grain silo. Proposals will be developed to refurbish and expand the office area, upgrade services distribution, and introduce new lifts, new toilets, and a new landscaped courtyard facing onto the River Thames.

It is envisaged that the project will be designed as self-contained flexible office suites for the creative SME market with supporting café and service areas at ground level. It’s a large and exciting scope of work and we just can’t wait to start!
