Welcome to G&P’s summer newsletter, providing our clients, collaborators and friends with an update on some of our latest projects and activities.  We are currently busy assisting a number of investors and asset managers on fast track refurbishment and re-branding projects aimed at transforming and re-positioning commercial properties in an increasingly competitive market.  A number of these exciting projects are being launched in the City and West End over the coming weeks, we will continue to keep you posted!

Square Mile Development Wins Planning

G&P have secured planning permission for a contemporary top floor extension with roof garden and 25,000sqft commercial refurbishment opposite Liverpool Street Station.  Working with Aberdeen Asset Management, G&P have designed an exciting light filled contemporary addition to the skyline with landscaped roof terraces overlooking Bishopsgate and The City.  The project involves Cat A fit out of the office building and creation of a dynamic reception area coupled with transformation of the retail elevations at street level.  JLL and GVA are acting as agents. Read more

 

Art Deco Icon

Works are currently underway for the refurbishment of an iconic Art Deco building on The Strand for Legal & General Assurance.  Formerly the Civil Service Supplies Association building, G&P are restoring the lost grandeur and elegance to provide high quality modern office space.  Generous proportions and original features are coupled with a polished servicing strategy to provide 9,500sqft of Cat A space.  The £2M contract is completing in August 2017 with Hanover Green and CBRE acting as agents. Mayfair Casino

G&P are working on the refurbishment of Aspinalls Club, an exclusive private gaming club on Curzon Street, Mayfair, W1. The £3.4M project for Crown Aspinalls involves extensive refurbishment of the Grade II listed building and implementation of contemporary rear additions designed by Wilkinson Eyre.  G&P are acting as executive architects on both the internal refurbishment works and reconfiguration of the roof to create gaming salons featuring glass ceilings with sensational views over London.  The contract is phased to allow the operation of the casino throughout the works and is due to complete in Autumn 2017. 40-41 Great Marlborough Street London entranceSoho Mixed Use

G&P are working to deliver a high quality mixed use scheme at 40-41 Great Marlborough St for MRP Developments.  A stone’s throw from Liberty, the scheme provides 8000sqft of prime retail over ground and basement with a further 7,700sqft Cat A office space above featuring south facing landscaped roof terraces.  Due for completion in early September 2017 CBRE and Allsop are acting as office agents, while Ian Scott International are retail agents.
